What do we do in third grade TAG?

We learn about mysteries! We solve them, and then at the end of 
the year, we write our own.

What do we do in fourth grade TAG?

We learn how to do research on the Internet and then show that 
research in a computer program that has sound, pictures and 
animation.

What do we do in fifth grade TAG?

We learn about the archaeology of the Maya, a people from Central 
America and Southern Mexico. We also learn about small business 
by starting a small company that sells string bracelets. Then we 
learn how to make money in the Stock Market.

What do we do in fifth grade Verbal?

Verbal is a high-level language arts program. We learn how to 
critique and write short stories; how to be storytellers, 
performing for the Kindergarten students; and how to write poetry.

What do we do in fifth grade Math Prime?

I don't teach Math Prime, but the GATE teacher who does tells us 
that the classes learn advanced math, such as beginning Algebra.

Several measures are used for placement, including teacher 
recommendation, standardized testing scores, and the IQ score 
from second grade.
