BOWNE, LAWRENCE BROOK, CHITTICK and WARNSDORFER: For our last class, we will 
be doing Wordles, so bring any that you have invented for us to try.

                                    4 TAG
For all 4 TAG classes: You should finish up your current project for 
presentation during our next class, which is the last one for the year.
Bring in digital pictures of your family for use in your Family project. If 
you have begun the Careers project, find the answer to one of the questions 
on the Careers sheet, found on the Photos/Docs page.

                                    5 TAG 
BOWNE: No homework this week.
CHITTICK: No homework this week.

                              Fifth Grade Verbal

BOWNE, CHITTICK, LAWRENCE BROOK and WARNSDORFER: This will be our last 
class. 
Bring in something that you have developed from your “Wild and Crazy Ideas” 
page and we’ll share it in class. It could take the form of a story, a poem, 
a letter, a journal entry, lyrics for a song, or a skit.

BOWNE: Bring your short mystery story to class. We will be writing a mystery 
story together in teams. We will present our cases this week.
LAWRENCE BROOK: Finish your cases because we will present our cases this 
week. 
CHITTICK: Finish your cases because we will present our cases this week. 
WARNSDORFER: Finish your cases because we will present our cases this week.

For all 4 TAG classes: You should finish up your current project for

BOWNE: 
-	You came up with some great ideas to help the Knudsen family. A copy 
of the Star-Ledger article may be found on the Photos/Docs page for your 
use, 
called “Take Action: The Knudsens”. I have included the name and address of 
the bank and for the owner of “The Second Time Around” at the end of that 
article. 
-	Write up your idea and list what steps we can take to help the 
family. We’ll select at least one idea to work on as a class.
-	Be prepared to perform your storytelling for the fifth grade 
students 
and for Mrs. Miller!

CHITTICK: 
-	You heard the story in class about the Knudsen family. A copy of the 
Star-Ledger article may be found on the Photos/Docs page for your use, 
called “Take Action: The Knudsens”. I have included the name and address of 
the bank and for the owner of “The Second Time Around” at the end of that 
article. 
-	Write up at least one idea about how our class could help the 
Knudsens and bring it to class.

LAWRENCE BROOK: 
-	Write five entries of your journal about traveling between the 
middle 
years of the 1800s on the Oregon Trail. Your character should be between 10 
and 15 years of age. Use your notes from the slides and our discussions to 
write your journal. We will be sharing them in class.

WARNSDORFER: 
-	You came up with some great ideas to help the Knudsen family. A copy
