Social Studies Test:
We will have a Social Studies test on Thursday, November 12. It will cover
Lessons 1 and 2 from Chapter 2 in the textbook. Children are responsible for:
-Knowing the meaning of mountain, river, ocean, plain, lake, plateau, weather
and climate
-Reading a landform map
-Knowing the meaning of natural resources, renewable and nonrenewable
resources, minerals, recycle, and environment
-Materials that can be recycled
-Types of renewable and nonrenewable resources and how they are used
-Reading a line graph and bar graph
Please review pages 30-45 and pages 50-51 in the textbook. Also, please
review any sheets in the social studies folder.
MATH TEST
We will have a math test on Unit 3 on Friday, November 13. Please refer to
the study guide that was sent home last week.
-Finding perimeter and area of a rectangle
-Measuring to the nearest inch and half inch and centimeter and half
centimeter
