This week we'll be adding and subtracting on the number line in math. The children and I are enjoying using our new smart board to play math games. In social studies we will be learning about the pilgrims and native americans and their role in history. In science we will learn what a rain guage is and how it is used. In writing we will compare small moment stories to more detailed lengthy ones. During partner reading we will learn to mark pages with words or phrases that we are not sure of. In health we will learn about our senses. During shared reading we will read stories about bears and Thanksgiving poems. We are staying very busy. The children are also enjoying listening to many stories about Thanksgiving and turkeys.
