Thank you to all of you who attended Back To School Night, it was nice to meet all of you and
give you an overview of our curriculum. I did forget to mention to mark your calendar for the
last day of school before winter break. That morning around 10:30 we ask an adult from each
family to come help their child create a gingerbread house. We do a week long study of the
gingerbread boy, reading many different and unique versions of the story. The children really
enjoy it. I also had mentioned take home word walls in my homework expectations. As of yet we
have not recieved them, if and when we do they will be sent home.To anyone interested in buying
tokens they will be sold on Fridays. You will be recieving shortly permission slips to
Cheesequake Farm the trip will be on 10/27. If you are willing to chaperone please note that
chaperones will be charged to attend.Please make sure that your child
is reading to you each night and completing their learning log. Please also make sure that your
child is bringing a snack to school each day, we break for snack around 10:00 each morning. If
you have not already returned your entertainment book please keep in mind they need to be
returned by the end of the week whether you are purchasing one or not. Thank you in advance for
