I have been teaching at Chittick for the past 16 years. My husband is an
architect. My daughter Alix,
is a lawyer living in Manhattan with her lawyer husband. My son David, was a
portfolio manager with a hedge fund in Manhattan for the past 5 years. This
year he decided to go back to school for a Business degree at the University
of Chicago. He loves being in school again, but we miss having him nearby. I
love gardening, all sports ( in particular: tennis, biking, running ),
reading, and going to the theater and the movies. Before I decided to teach,
I was a licensed Landscape Architect and designed many gardens, playgrounds,
office parks, and monuments.
This year my mission for my classes is to BE GREEN! I believe we should all
do what we can to improve our environment and to live harmoniously on our
planet. My mission is also to create students who understand what community
is and our responsibility to all our many communitites: classroom,
neighborhood, state, country, and world.
