What To Do If Your Instrument Needs To Be Repaired: If you are renting through The Music Shop and your instrument needs to be repaired, call the store. Tell them that you need to exchange your broken instrument for a working one. If you really want to have your original instrument returned to you, then request a loaner and specifically ask to have your instrument given back to you after it is repaired. Write "for exchange" and you child's name on a paper that is taped to the instrument case. Have your child bring it to school on Tuesday and leave it in the music room. A representative from the store will make the exchange at some point during the day. Remember to remove any personal items from the case before returning the instrument.
