These are ongoing assignments:
(1). Math homework is assigned Mon.-Thurs. every week unless otherwise
noted. Always, always, always, practice your fact triangles or flashcards
during the school year as well as telling time and counting money.
(2). Reading homework is assigned periodically Mon.-Thurs. unless otherwise
noted; Weekly reading logs may be assigned as well. Students may log ANY
reading such as classroom textbooks (ex: Social Studies Chapter 1) , books
read in class or at home, and newspaper and magazine articles. For reading
quizzes, study guides will be provided.
(3). Writing homework may include unfinished work in class or completing
entries in Reading Response Journals or Writer's Notebooks.
(4). Any reading program can be assigned homework on an as needed basis.
***If students miss a homework assignment, they have 2 days to make it up for
some credit. Any assignment past 3 days will not be accepted***
