* EMERGENCY SCHOOL CLOSINGS PHONE CHAIN *
The PTA offers the families of Chittick an Emergency School Closings Phone Chain.  If school is already in session and there is an unexpected event whereby the school needs to close (i.e.: snow storm), the volunteer members of this Phone Chain will assist with calling the parents of Chittick Students to let them know that school is unexpectedly closing and they need to either pick up their child or arrange for someone to be home for when the child arrives home.  Each volunteer only has to call between 8-12 parents.  10 more volunteers are  needed to complete the Emergency School Closing Phone Chain.  If interested in helping, please call Bethann Schultz @ 732-698-9224 or email her @ BannNJ@AOL.com.  Thanks.

Box Tops is offering a new promotion called "Power of 1". 
For each person who registers their e-mail address with the BoxTops4Education Website,
Chittick School will earn 5 Box Tops (no purchase necessary!!).
When signing up @ the website choose Murray Chittick Elementary School
from the school pulldown menu so that Chittick gets credit. 
 The bonus Box Tops will be given to Chittick 'after' you click on a link that will be sent to you in an email. 
If at least 50 people sign up, Chittick will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win 5,000 bonus Box Tops.
