Letter homework will be sent home most Monday's and should be returned by
Friday. Please remember to include 4 pictures of something that starts with
that letter. Also, have your child try to write the name of the picture.
Writing journals will go home on Wednesdays. Please have your child copy the sentence and
complete the sentence. Please remember to always write in pencil. Have your child draw and label
a picture to illustrate his/her sentence. Journals should be returned on Thursday or Friday.
Independent reading book bags will go home on Friday and should be returned on Mondays Please
practice reading these books with your child over weekend.
Sight word homework will begin coming home soon. Please have your child
search for the sight word in magazines or newspapers. Cut the word out and
glue it onto the sight word homework page.
Notices have been sent home regarding sight word rings. Please sign and
return the notice. Once all are recieved, sight word rings will be sent
home. Remember to return the rings daily so we can work with your children.
Math Homework:
Weekly math homework will be sent home. These homework sheets do not need
to be returned. Please work on each skill on a daily basis.
