Kids ConnectWhat is Kids Connect?
The Chittick School Community is always looking for ways to teach and demonstrate good character here as well as outside of our school. Over the past few years we have developed relationships with the Lakeview School and Senior Programs in East Brunswick. The 5th grade students who participate in Kids Connect have been able to learn about and interact with students with disabilities and the elderly through recreational activities and interactive lessons.They also volunteer recess time in our own special education classes.
In December I will be visiting the 5th grade classrooms to introduce the program and ask students to sign up if they are interested.
