MON: Review for tomorrow's test (Use Timeline, Scavenger Hunt, and notes taken
in class today to help! See Handouts/Documents for additional resources).
TUES: Read & Highlight AOC pkt pgs 1&2; Define 1st FOUR terms on pg 5.
WED: Veteran's Day webquest
THURS: Make sure you have read/highlighted pgs 1-4 and answered all
questions/definitions on pgs 5&6 in your AOC pkt.
FRI: See ya Monday!!
Week of November 2nd
MON: AR pkt pgs 27-29 (Highlight & Answer questions).
TUES: Create a detailed timeline from 1775-1783. Timeline must include at
least 8 events/dates (This will help serve as a study guide for next week's
American Revolution test!).
WED: Complete FINAL page of AR pkt (Scavenger Hunt). You MUST indicate where
you found the answer to the questions, whether it was a page in your packet or
somewhere in the textbook! AR Review on Monday & Test on Tuesday. Study
Guide under Handouts/Documents.
Week of October 26th
MON: Read pgs 125-126 & answer #1abc on pg 130.
TUES: AR pkt pg 22-23 (Highlight as you read).
WED: AR pkt pg 20-21 (Highlight as you read AND answer questions); Due FRIDAY
- Find and bring in an article (online or newspaper/magazine) about the
upcoming Governor's Race.
THURS: Find and bring in an article (online or newspaper/magazine) about the
upcoming Governor's Race and bring in tomorrow.
FRI: BE SAFE trick-or-treating!!
Week of October 19th
MON: Patriot & Loyalist Debate in-class tomorrow. Use notes, packets, and the
textbook to help you prepare three statements on why someone should support
your side (positions were assigned in class, if you were not in-class today,
please assume the role of a Loyalist). Three reasons must be written down!
TUES: Read the end of pg 115-120; Answer # 2abc & 4abc on pg 120. *ELAR &
Early Battles TEST on Friday (In-class review on Thursday; Study Guide has
been posted under Handouts/Documents).
WED: (Per 1,4,8/9,&12) Create 4 questions for tomorrow's review (must be
written down). Questions should cover any material from ELAR pkt & what we
have already covered in the AR pkt.
THURS: STUDY FOR TOMORROW'S TEST!! Study Guide has been posted on TeacherWeb
FRI: Make sure you have completed AR pkt pgs 9, 18-19
Week of October 13th
TUES/WED: Complete AR pkt pg 8
THURS/FRI: Complete ELAR pkt pg 21&22 & AR pkt pg 4&5 (Highlight key info!)
for Monday (CHECK OUT "MUPPETS REENACT THE SECOND CONTINENTAL CONGRESS"

Week of October 5th
MON: Bumper Sticker due tomorrow!! Remember to include your 4-5 sentence
description on the BACK of your assignment.
TUES: DBQ #2-3
WED: DBQ #4-5
THURS: DBQ #6-7; Read pgs 115-118 and answer all 3 Reading Check questions on
those pages.
FRI: Be prepared for In-Class Essay on Tues/Wed (Remember we have half-days
next week, periods 1-4 on Tues & 5/6-12 on Wed).
Week of September 28th
TUES: Make sure you have @ least FIVE EVENTS completed (ELAR pkt pgs 5&6). If
you have @ least five, please review your information and make sure you have
both the Colonists Response & the English's Reaction.
WED: Prepare your "preliminary" slogan for the Bumper Sticker project (pkt pg
20) to be approved tomorrow (I strongly advise that you create more than one
so that you several to choose from - brainstorm!).
THURS: Complete pkt pg 16 (Answer questions & highlight key info); Bumper
Sticker due Oct 6 -- if you did not bring a slogan to class today, you must
have one by tomorrow!
FRI: Complete pkt pg 15 (In addition to answering the questions, identify any
inaccuracies you find in the engraving); Bumper Sticker due Oct 6! Extra copy
of the assignment can be found under Handouts/Documents.

TUES: Complete pg 14 in pkt; Quiz on Thursday - STUDY GUIDE has been posted on

THURS: Complete pg 1 in Events Leading.. pkt. (Add "speech bubbles" for each
character - what might they be thinking/saying? Also write a caption beneath
the cartoon explaining what is happening).
