WEEK of December 1 -
MON: Complete pg 3 from today's handout & begin memorizing the Preamble
(School House Rocks vid has been posted on TeacherWeb under LINKS). QUIZ on
Preamble-Art III on Dec 11th.
TUES: Finish Scavenger Hunt.
WED: Answer BOTH "Exploring the Document" questions on pg 174.
THURS: Create a visual (chart, pic, map, etc.) describing the path a bill
takes to become a law. Today's PowerPoint is under "Handouts/Documents"
WEEK of November 24 -
MON & TUES: Write a letter from one of the delegates at the Constitutional
Convention TO John Adams OR Thomas Jefferson telling them what is happening
(and specifically mentioning two compromises that were discussed). Letter
requirements were distributed in class on Monday and can also be found
under "Handouts/Documents" on TeacherWeb. MUST BE TYPED! DUE WEDNESDAY
WED: Happy Thanksgiving - See you Monday!
WEEK of November 17 -
MON: Fill-in missing info on pgs 5&6 of AOC pkt (use pgs 1-4 to help you!)
TUES: AOC pkt pgs 15&16 (Quiz on Thurs - Review info in packet).
WED: AOC pkt pg 19 (Quiz Tomorrow!)
THURS: Read pgs 151-top of 154 in textbook. Answer #1a,2a,&2c (EXPLAIN your
answer to 2c to get full credit!) on pg 156.
FRI: Read pgs 153-156 in textbook. Answer #2b,3a,3c,&4 on pg 156.
WEEK of November 10 -
MON: Terms of Treaty of Paris (last page of today's handout -- use notes
from today to help you complete it!)
TUES: Create 3 potential test questions (Must be multiple choice and have 4
options. You must know the answer to your questions!). Begin studying for
Friday's test - if you lose your Study Guide, print a new one from TeacherWeb
WED: Finish your Scavenger Hunt if you did not do so in class (this will be
your way of studying tonight!). STUDY - Jeopardy Game & additional
resources
are on TeacherWeb to help you! Check under Handouts/Documents!
THURS: STUDY!
FRI: Read pgs 146-147 & answer questions #2b, 3a, & 3b on pg 149 in the
textbook.
