Week of November 30
MON: Read & Highlight the article you were given on the Electoral College
(Pro/Con).  Answer the questions that follow the article and make
statements/points you plan to bring up in tomorrow's DEBATE! "SHOULD WE STILL
HAVE THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE TODAY?"
TUES: AOC & Constitutional Conven. TEST on THURSDAY.  Come to class tomorrow
with 6 review questions prepared to share (3 on AOC & 3 on CC).
WED: STUDY for tomorrow's test (Review the following: AOC pkt, Great
Compromise & 3/5th Compromise chart, The Compromise that Made a Nation video
questions, Constitutional Convention packet questions #1-21, and notes on the
Electoral College).
THURS: Read "The Structure of Gov't" (new packet) pg 1 & Answer questions #1-5
on pg 10.
FRI: Illustration of the Preamble (due Monday).

Week of November 23
MON: Write a speech (6-8 sentences) either supporting/opposing the issue of
slavery as it pertains to the debate over representatives in the lower house
(Recall today's lesson on the 3/5ths Compromise).  You will write from the
perspective of a delegate from ______ (the state on the card you were given in
class).
TUES & WED: Make sure your HISTORY Binder is ORGANIZED!  Take time to put your
notes/handouts/packets in ORDER.  ONLY HISTORY MATERIAL should be in your
HISTORY BINDER.  Your divider should be positioned to the current
unit/handout/notes.

Week of November 16
MON: AOC pgs 13&14
TUES: AOC Quiz on Thursday (Review and bring in 4 questions you have tomorrow).
WED: Review for tomorrow's quiz!  Read pgs 151-153 & answer Reading Check on
pg 153.
THURS: Read pgs 153-156 & answer #1ac & 2abc on pg 156.
FRI: See ya Monday!
