IMPORTANT TEXTBOOK ANNOUNCEMENT. There are now 6 copies of the class
textbook in the Churchill library for student use during school hours.
IMPORTANT HW/CW ANNOUNCEMENT. Detective Harnett has retired. MR.Harnett
will now subtract 5 points if you hand in a paper with no name on it.
IMPORTANT TEST ANNOUNCEMENT. (Well, important is relative I guess.)
Students - if you are in class when a test is announced, are absent on the
day of the test review, but are in class the day of the test...YES, YOU HAVE
TO TAKE THE TEST!!! I.e., if Mr.Harnett comes in Monday and says, "Test
on Friday and review on Thursday.", you're taking the test Friday even if
you are absent on Thursday. You know to study your vocab list as a review
sheet.
FYI - The textbook that we use in class is "HEALTH - CHOOSING WELLNESS" 2ND
Edition. Published by Prentice Hall. ISBN - 0-13-385873-1.
Attention parents & students - just a reminder that all students are allowed
to use ONE 3 X 5 index card during their tests. This is OPTIONAL, not
required, so I do not usually schedule class time for this. Students may
write any notes that they think will be helpful on the card. They may use
the card during the test. They must turn in the card after the test.
