Week of December 14th: Students are continuing work on their snowman. They have completed the running stitch to attach the carrot nose, used the chain stitch for the mouth and decorated the hat with a button and the rope stitch. The eyes are buttons. This week they will outline their initials, then the snowman can be stitched together with the blanket and stuffed. After the snowman is completed we will begin our pillow projects and begin to learn to use the sewing maching.
