Announcing the Interact Club fundraiser to be held on Friday, November 20th from 7 - 9 PM. The Interact Club (community service club) will be sponsoring a social event called the "Lock-In Activity Night". It will take place from 7 - 9 PM and will provide students with the opportunity to take part in many activities including a dance, open gym, coffee house, movie night and hanging out with friends. Admission is $5, payable at the door. The Interact Club is also asking students to bring a canned good for the local food bank.
The week of November 15-21 had been proclaimed American Education Week 2009. In recognition of this and to celebrate our excellent public schools, Dr. Magistro invites parents to visit Churchill Junior High School on Tuesday, November 17th from either 9:00AM - 10:00AM or 1:00PM - 2:00 PM. Students received IDs and clips only on Monday, November 2nd during their first period class. There will be no lanyards distributed. IDS must be worn and visible at all times.
Attention 9th Grade Parents - you may submit a baby picture and a short message to appear in the yearbook for $10. PICTURES & MESSAGES MUST BE RECEIVED BY NOVEMBER 13TH. The Yearbook committee is also looking for candids from sporting events, clubs/activities, etc. -- so if any parents have been taking pics and could send them (digital is fine, they can be emailed) so that they may be included - that would be excellent. Again, they can be sent to Ms. Grotrian's email address.
Churchill Junior High School yearbooks for both grades will be available to purchase online until DECEMBER 17TH. Please go to the Churchill School site and follow the online order link. Books are $30 each.
Please join and support the PTA - the membership form is available on the Download Forms page. Dues are $6.50 an individual and $10 for family membership. Show your support by joining an organization that cares about our youth and their future.

SEPTA is running a holiday pie fundraiser with the Child Nutrition office. Fresh baked pies will be boxed and ready for pick-up in the Child Nutrition Office.
