April 14 - Study guide due tomorrow, Test Wednesday (4th marking period) and
typed rough draft due Thursday

May 9 - Packet pages 1,3,4,5,6 DUE MONDAY
May 12 - Packet pages 7,8,9,10,11,12,13 DUE TUESDAY
May 13 - FINISH EVENTS LEADING TO CIVIL WAR PACKET -Tomorrow will be the
last day in the computer lab so the electronic graphic organizer must be
finished by the end of class on Wednesday.
May 14 - Packet should be completed, electronic graphic organizer should be
done and saved in the proper place. If you were on Buehler today - we will
arrange for you to get into the computer lab to do your organizer.
May 21 - Reading on Gettysburg and the final surrender of the Civil War
***Special presentation tomorrow go STRAIGHT TO THE MEDIA CENTER!!! - If you
do not have the reading it is under important documents
May 23 - Textbook page 362 # 1 & 2 ALL PARTS
May 27 - Chapter 11 Section 1 handout - Under important documents if need.
Also under important docs is the class work from today - the graphic
organizer.
May 28 - Chapter 11 Section 2 handout - if you misplaced it or were absent
it
is under important documents.
May 29 - Finish battle chart - you may use the Textbook Ch 11 Various
sections or you can you the website we used in class here are the directions:
1. go.hrw.com
2. keyword SD7 CH11
3. click on chapter enrichment links
4. click on Civil War battles summaries
5. go all the way up to the top and click on "battles by state" its in the
left margin
6. use "control and f" to find the battles easier
May 29 - Chapter 11 Section 3 handout. It is under important documents
along with the completed Civil War battle chart from class - they are at the
top of the list.
June 2 - Based off of the film we saw today in class on the 54th Regiment
from Massachusetts answer the following questions:
1. What role did the 54th Regiment play in the Civil War?
2. What was their impact on American history in the 1800's?
3. Did they help break down boundaries during this period?
If so -how? If not - explain.
**The assignment should be at least 6 sentences total and you may type your
response if you would like
