How often is homework assigned?

In most cases, homework will be assigned Monday - Thursday
nights. Normally
there will not be homework on the weekends. Exceptions are for

When are instrumental music lessons held?

Instrumental music lessons are held Mondays, Tuesdays, and
Fridays. Your
child is assigned to a particular group that meets on the same
day each
week, but at a different time. It is your child's responsibility
to find
out and complete the work missed while he/she was at the lesson.

What are the 'Signed Papers' folders?

'Signed Papers' folders are sent home most Fridays. Inside each
student's
folder are tests, quizzes, writing assignments, and any other
work that I
feel parents/guardians need to see. You are asked to review each
paper,
sign each, and send the papers and the folder back to school on
Monday.
This keeps you informed as to your child's progress. If you have
a question
or concern, feel free to write me a note on the paper in question.
