On or about November 9, FPS students will be able to enter their answers
into
the online booklet systems. It is highly recommended for at least the first
practice problem (and really all problems) that students send their answers
to Mrs. Rosnick as well as enter their answers into the online booklet.
Remember: Ability can take you to the top, but it takes character to keep
you there!
The new "flex" schedule is working well; students are scheduled into the
PRISM programs two days in a row.
Students should be able to work independently outside of PRISM and be
prepared to show their new work at the next PRISM class. If a student can't
remember to bring the work to the next PRISM class, continuing in PRISM
becomes questionable.
This program is supposed to be for the students who need and desire
enrichment in addition to that offered by the regular classroom teachers.
Four-month PRISM calendars were distributed in September and students are
responsible for checking them to determine when they are scheduled for
PRISM. It is not the responsibility of the PRISM teacher to send individual
announcements, reminders, or other students to classrooms to gather
students. Building responsibility and routines are excellent life-long
habits. No time like the present to begin preparing for the future!
