"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." I was saved as a
child, but it wasn't until I was 19 years old that God got my attention and
my life was turned around. I desire to "see God" in the everyday, and live a
pure life that honors Him.
I graduated from Messiah College many years ago with a
Bachelors of Science in Education, K-9, and a minor in Music. I taught for
four years in 4th grade at C.C.S.(1984-1988), then was blessed to stay at
home and be mom and homeschool teacher from 1988-2000. In 2000 God led me
back part time at C.C.S.,
and then the joy of working as an educational therapist in 2002.
I've worked in the Discovery Center at C.C.S. for 6 years and have
completed Levels I and II of the Masters Level training from the National
Institute for Learning Disabilities (NILD). Struggling learners are dear to
my heart.
I taught Math for two years in the Middle School at CCS and am now moving up
to the High School. A new adventure awaits!
The Mauro family consists of my wonderful husband Paul, and our three
daughters Andrea (graduate of C.C.S - 2006), Samantha (graduate of C.C.S. -
2008) and
Michaela (8th grader at C.C.S.). We live in Malaga Camp of Newfield, NJ.
Math is God ordained and it is His desire to help us understand it.
It is also my mission for us to expect great things of God as we learn
math using Jeremiah 33:3 as our theme verse for the year.
"Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which
you do not know." God knows it all. He is bigger than we can imagine. We
will call upon Him for help and expect great things.
