I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. My parents were missionaries and I
grew up loving the Latino culture. I majored in Spanish and Education at
Houghton College, enabling me to use Spanish in my career. The Lord provided
the funds to have Spanish classes this year for 7th and 8th grades and I'm
excited to be back!
The students will develop basic Spanish vocabulary including greetings,
introducing themselves through an oral and written approach. To help
the students acquire the skill of speaking Spanish they will be learning
Bible verses and choruses throughout the year. The students will use the
levels 1A and 1B of the textbook, "En español" by McDougal Littel.
