I graduated from The University of Rhode Island with a B.S. in Kinesiology. I
also obtained my teaching certificate for Physical Education/Health/Adapted
Physical Education grades Pre K - 12.
I have worked as a Personal Fitness Trainer/Group Aerobics
Instructor for over a decade. I also volunteer coach the Wayne Hills High
School Gymnastics
team. In the past, I coached competitive club gymnastics, ran gymnastics
programs (birthday parties and general classes), managed health club daycare
rooms, and worked in summer camps as both a counselor and a gymnastics/dance
coach.
Health and Fitness have always been a huge part of my life; I want to share
my passion and understanding in the field to help not just my students but
their families and peers in making healthier lifestyle choices.
Educate...Motivate...Support!
This will be my fourth year teaching at Dogwood Hill Elementary School, and I
can't wait to start another amazing year with my Oakland family. It is truly a
pleasure to be a part of such a wonderful team.

My mission in my classes is to have every student respect themselves, their
classmates, myself, and all of our equipment. They are expected to
participate in all of the activities to the best of their ability. Students
will help others when needed, share, be kind, and work as a team to reach the
class goals. The students will learn and understand the importance of living
a healthy lifestyle. In addition, my students will HAVE FUN!
