About the Teacher Mr. Butler is in his 16th year of teaching. He has taught kindergarten, first, and second grade as a classroom teacher. Mr. Butler brings a wide array of experience to the Dutch Neck Elementary community. He has a Bachelors in Science Degree from Trenton State College. Mr. Butler plans on continuing Grad school at The College of New Jersey with a degree in Technology in the Elementary School. He lived in Holland for four years (when 5.25 floppy disks were in), worked as a building contractor during college (Trenton State College). He is an Air Force Veteran who served as a non-commissioned officer in Europe working in security police, triage, and chapel management. He reached the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was head-coach for an adult, Dutch citizen (American) football team in Holland.
Mr. Butler, his wife, Kim, and his children, ages 5 and 7, live in Robbinsville. He enjoys digital photography, home building projects, swimming, fishing, hiking (Machu Pichu), travel (Europe, South America, Caribbean, Mexico), archery, and has a children/pop music entertainment band - Rhythm 'n Balloons/Alter Ego.
