The Social Studies program that is being implemented is a hands-on program called Nystrom-Explaining the Where and Why. This program builds a solid foundation of essential social studies skills and concepts. It helps to develop responsible citizens in a community. This program also helps to develop multicultural awareness and sensitivity. The students will be exploring maps and globes through hands-on activities. As a class, we will be looking closely and learning about our continent North America, as well as exploring the other continents.
