We have begun our Eve Bunting author study. Incorporated in this unit is the identification of story elements, making inferences and locating supporting details.

Students continue to work on adding details to their writing. Details include similies and onomatopoeia. In addition students have begun to utilize the thesaurus to expand vocabulary as well as use better words in their writing.

Everyone is doing well on the weekly reading packets. Keep up the good work!
