All Students start the marking period with a homework grade of 100%. 5 points are deducted from the homework grade for each missing homework assignment.Participation and Preparation are calculated the same way. Some labs will count towards the participation grade.Coming to class unprepared with result in 5 point deduction each occurance. Credit will not be given for late work, excluding absences and/or extenuating circumstances. However students may still receive notebook credit when all assignments are complete. Any assignments (due to absences) not made up will be graded as zero. A homework notice is sent home for every 3 missing homework assignments. Notebooks will be checked each marking period and will count as a quiz grade. 5 bonus points will be given on tests when you review with your parents and get your study guide signed. Make sure you write how long you studied!
