TEACHER BIO:
I love teaching! I have taught every grade level here at Frankford except preschool. However, I was a
preschool director in Morristown before joining
the staff here at Frankford in 1991. I am currently the Response to Interventionist (formally Basic
Skills) Teacher for Grade 2. My office is Room 12 d. I am especially pleased to have initiated the
Basic Skills Summer Program. I have degrees in Early Childhood Education and a two Masters Degrees
one in Special Education from Kean University, the other from The College of New Jersey in
Educational Instruction. I was nominated to Kappa Delta Pi, the honor society in education in 1998.
When I am not working with children you will find me visiting my five grown
children and three grown step children or playing with one of my four grandchildren preferably in my
garden. I love to travel. I have been to Europe (England, France, Spain,
Italy and Germany) and Australia, I've been to Puerto Rico and all but three
of the fifty United States. I still would like to visit Alabama, Arkansas and
Mississippi.
To support parents in developing a love of learning for all my students.
Reading is my passion. I especially enjoy being the chairperson of the Enthusiastic
Reader program every year.
