| BOOK BAGS:
First and second graders will be bringing home book bags. There will be a
page in the bag explaining how to use them. Basically, I'm sending the book
bags home to encourage the students to read and share their reading skills
with their families. Each month they will get a new calendar page that will
list any special assignments. Parents should initial each night that your
child reads or does activities that were sent home. At the end of the month,
any child who has 15 nights initialed for the month will choose a prize from
the 'treasure chest'. Please help your child to bring in the book bag every
Monday and Friday. Thank you for your support!
