Reading Logs:
Students will be expected to read for a minimum of 15 minutes 6 days a week.
They will hand in their reading logs every Friday, and they will bring a new
one home Friday afternoon. Their reading logs MUST BE SIGNED BY A
PARENT/GUARDIAN. For each day they read, they will be expected to reflect on
their reading. The reading log has prompts on the back if they need ideas. It
is okay to double up on reading one night and write in two entries, but it is
not okay to read for an hour one day in place of 4 days of reading. The idea
is to have your child read daily.
