Monday, November 30--Dan Gutman visits Frost SchoolWhat Have We Learned?
We have learned the colors red, yellow, green, blue, purple, orange, brown and black. We are learning the letter "R" this week. We will be reading Ray Ran and Kittens Everywhere this week. We will be talking about rhyming words. We are counting by ones, twos, fives and tens. We are continuing to practice our math skills. We are continuing to write stories in our Writers Workshop. We have learned the letters "M", "S", "F", "B", "C", "T", "R". We are continuing to work on our writing and reading. The students should be practicing their independent reading books every night. Books will be sent home Monday-Thursday and should be returned to school each day. Thank you for your help with this! We have learned the sight words: a I to go and can see the like they my We have library Monday for the morning class and Wednesday for the afternoon class.
