| Dear parents,
I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful year we have been having
in ESL. It is hard to beleive Spring is almost here!!!
it has been a pleasure working with all your children. They have made
my first year at Frost a wonderful experience. We have workded so hard to
get to where we are now. Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking are the
four components that we are constantly improving on. Whether it is through
music, poems, or, stories the students have accomplished so much with the
English Language!
In the spring the students will be taking the ACCESS, a test given by
the state to see houw well our children have improved with the English
Language. This test will be an assessment as well as a way to tell us if
your child is exempt to staying in the ESL program for the upcoming year.
This test will be given April 3-18. Also, in the spring we will be learning
about plants and seeds. This week (march 17-20) we will be making shamrock
shakes for St. Patricks Day and coloring eggs for the spring.
