 How often will we have homework in 4th grade?
4th graders typically have four nights of homework per week (Monday through 
Thursday).  This may vary depending on holidays, special events, and long 
range assignments.

 Should my child be reading at home?
Of course!  Fourth graders should be reading independently for at least 30 
minutes each night.  Monitor your child's reading by asking them about what 
they have read.   Ask them to make connections and predictions based on 
their reading.
