Down Syndrome Support
World Down Syndrome Day - March 21
Network21: Supporting Families with Down Syndrome is a parent-run organization serving Central New Jersey. We connect and support parents, caregivers, and individuals with Down syndrome and identify and share resources that can positively impact the lives of people with Down syndrome in our community. We meet monthly (usually the 3rd Wednesday evening of the month), host quarterly Family Fun Days, fundraise for our local Buddy Walk, and share information and support via our website ( www.dsnetwork21.org) and online message board. All events are free. If you would like more information about upcoming Network21 events, please contact Amy Geoffroy at 732-390-0108 (H), 508-740-6820 (C), or geoffroyamy@gmail.com.

SPAN General Number, 973-297-5300 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello Families Network! I just wanted to send you a quick email to let you know that Governor Corzine signed A4076/S2604 into law this morning. This makes it official, and the law in NJ now states that the burden of proof is on schools districts in special education due process hearings. Thanks again for all your wonderful work on this issue. This is a huge success and a great example of what we can accomplish when we come together and take action!
