Governor Christie will be working on the budget and a critical area for nonpublic schools is funding for transportation for our students.
The ceiling for nonpublic school transportation is currently @ $884.00 per pupil and has not been increased since 2008-2009 school year.
As a result nonpublic school students are losing transportation services because of the costs incurred by districts and private contractors.
Please call, email or write Governor Christie on a continuing basis between now and the release of his budget on February 24 to ask to increase
the ceiling for nonpublic school transportation to $950.00.

ALL NONPUBLIC SCHOOLS IN THE STATE WILL BE
IMPACTED IF THE INCREASE IS NOT GIVEN
