  2. Is extra help available?
  3. Is there any extra credit?
  4. Where can students' grades be accessed?

How are grades determined?

Grading is done on a points scale. Each assignment is worth a set number of points. Students
receive points for correct answers. At the end of the marking period, all of the points the students
earned are divided by the number of possible points, then multiplied by 100 to get the final grade.

This system is used so that students are receiving points for what they do correctly, rather than lose
points for mistakes or what they do incorrectly.

Is extra help available?

Absolutely! I am always willing to help students after school. Just check with me ahead of time to make
sure I don't need to leave for an appointment or anything.

Is there any extra credit?

There is always one extra credit project each marking period. Details about the project are given out in
the middle of the marking period.

Where can students' grades be accessed?

At the Mygradebook website (www.mygradebook.com). Once there, enter the class word, which is:
8A: ahlers1
7A: ahlers2
8B: ahlers3

Once you have entered the class word, you need to enter the student password, which was given to
them in school.
