FAQFrequently Asked Questions: This page contains answers to common questions of students and parents.
What should I do if my child forgets his or her homework? Please check your child's agenda book and see if he/she wrote down his/her assignment. I check each student's agenda book each day to see if he/she is using it properly. I will give out demerits to students who do not come to school prepared. What should my child do if he/she is stuck on a word while reading? You may help your child sound out the word. See if he/she recognizes the context clues, the words that help figure out the meaning. Have your child read the sentence too you and explain what he/she thinks the sentence means. Context clues can really help your child determine the meaning of new words. What materials can I use to help my child become a better learner? If you have computer access there are many student websites that we encourage your child to use. Math websites can be very helpful and entertaining. Students can use websites to play math games as well as reading games. |
