A little about Ms. Scanlon

This is Ms. Scanlon's second year at GNCS.  This year she is teaching math to 
the sixth grade and one section of the seventh.  She really loves the energy 
of the school and the students truly put the great in GREATER NEWARK CHARTER 
SCHOOL. 
She graduated from Fairfield University in Connecticut in 2002.  She has a 
B.A. in Communications and received her teaching certificate via alternate 
route. She has two older sisters and both of her parents are teachers as 
well.  She played basketball in high school and was on the dance team in 
college.  She enjoys working out, movies, and teaching at GNCS.  This year 
she will teach gym as an elective and will coordinate the dance club after 
school with Ms. Lobato.
