This week in Algebra, we will be wrapping up Chapter 4. On Monday, we will review the chapter in preparation for the test on Tuesday. Students will be given a checkbook project for homework on Tuesday that is due on Wednesday, 12/2/09. We will review the project in class on Wednesday and students will complete the Open Response for Chapter 4.
This week in Pre-Algebra, we will begin Chapter 3 by learning how to solve two-step equations on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, we will play a game to reinforce our understanding of simplifying expressions and solving equations. I will be after school on Tuesday and encourage students who are struggling with either of these concepts to stay for extra-help.
Have a great Thanksgiving!
