· Writing Prompt #1-Due Monday December 6th Write a story based on the following story starter. You wake up after a sound nights sleep and struggle to get your self out of bed. As your feet hit the floor you realize somehow during the night you changed, a type of metamorphosis happen. You are now…….. Write a short story with dialogue and show not tell about what it was like to wake up changed. Describe what you did before getting to school. (Getting out of bed, brushing your teeth etc.)
· Read for 30 minutes and record on log.- Do Home Link on page 4 of reading pack.
· Vocabulary Word Wall- Use a thesaurus or an online thesaurus to find three synonyms for Naughty. Use an index card and write the old word and your new words on one side. On the opposite side, write the definition of the new words and use all the new words in sentences that clearly show the words meaning.
· Writing Prompt #1 Due- Monday December 7. Write atleast the beginning tonight.

· Read for 30 minutes and record on log.- Do Home Link on page 6 of reading pack.
· Word work-: Write sentences for 10 of your words
· Writing prompt #1- Due on Monday December 7th write the middle of the story
· Read for 30 minutes and record on log. Reading logs with summaries are due tomorrow. Do Home Link on page 8 of reading pack.
· Word work: Study for test tomorrow
· Writing prompt #1- Due on Monday Dec. 7th write the end of the story
· Read for 30 minutes each night and record on log.
· Word work: Prepare next weeks word sorts- Highlight bold words, color back, cut out and place in baggie in Word Work book.
· Writing Prompt #1- due on Monday- over the weekend you may proof-read or type. Must be legible and neat. Be proud of your work.
