This week in Social Studies we will continue our study of Unit Three.  Students have received a Unit Three packet.  The packet is a required daily supply.  The Unit Three Quiz #2 is scheduled for Friday, December 4, 2009.  Please check the Homework and What We Did In Class pages for more details regarding assignments.

 

House Two is sponsoring a Holiday Collection beginning on Monday, November 30, 2009 and continuing through Thursday, December 3, 2009.  We are raising money for gifts for a local family in need.  All students are invited to participate.  Students may bring money to Social Studies or may give money to Peer Leaders during their lunch period.  Participation is optional and any donation is welcome.   Thank you in advance for your support.

 

Although written homework is not regularly assigned, students are expected to study each night. Remember to encourage your child to experiment with various study strategies such as vocabulary flash cards, practice tests, rewriting class notes and orally reviewing the information with a parent or study buddy. These are only ideas - students are encouraged to find a study strategy that works for them!

 

Please be sure to call a study buddy, visit TeacherWeb and follow-up with Ms. Dugan about the work that you miss when you are not in class.
