Words Their Way is a hands-on approach to becoming proficient spellers in
order to improve the quality of mechanics in writing. Each child will be
able
to complete individual, partnership, and group activities working with
spelling patterns on a daily basis. For example, arranging words that
follow
a prefix sorting pattern. The first spelling pattern is decided based on
the
September assessment and continues to scaffold as he/she improves.
