Can parents attend classroom performances of plays?

Most cycles students are given the option to invite their parents. During
the fourth cycle when the Fairview trips occur I may not be able to work this
into the school schedule. Some students really want a parent to attend, but
some have increased anxiety over parent attendance. If the schedule allows,I
will pass out invitations about a week before the performances to the
students. It is up to the student to issue the invite.

Can siblings or other relatives attend classroom play performances?

Please do not bring children under 3 or 4 to the performances. Parents have a
hard time enjoying their students performance when trying to keep a toddler
quiet. 1 or 2 guests is acceptable. Please keep in mind our space is limited.

Can I make a copy of the play script?

Yes. I encourage students to make an extra copy so they have one to use at
home and one to keep in the folder in class. The script will be graded at the
end of the cycle as part of the folder grade. The scripts are from a book of
plays and the book is out of print. The book also has a classroom copyright
stipulation that makes it legal to make copies for school use.
