Homework

Homework must be written in the student agenda and it is expected to be 
completed when due. Please check your child's agenda daily. 

November 12- Portfolio projects and self assessments due tomorrow!  Computer
cycle students- begin working on 2 pages of notes on 1st guideword.

November 10 & 11- Read and highlight lesson summary (refer to your pink
bookmark).  Continue working on Portfolio projects and self assessments due on
Friday.

November 9- Define the key term found on page 58 of your textbook on page 4 of
your Notes section.

November 4- Complete the "Lesson Preview" and the "Reading Strategy" (this is
the front and back of page 13 in your notes section).  Use the textbook to
answer the questions.

November 3- Continue working on portfolio projects.  Portfolios and self
assessments are due on Friday, November 13.

November 2- Complete Arab trade routes worksheet.

October 30- Begin working on portfolio project, due November 13.
2nd computer cycle- choose your research topic and guide words by November 3.   

October 29- 2nd computer cycle- begin looking through textbook to choose your
research topic and 2 guide words.

October 28- Computer cycle students- final drafts of research papers due
tomorrow.  

October 27- Computer cycle students- presentations begin tomorrow.  Final
drafts of research paper are due on Thursday.

October 26- Complete Drawing conclusions handout.  Computer cycle students
continue working on final draft of paper.  Presentations begin on Wednesday,
October 28.  Final drafts are due on Thursday, October 29. 


October 23-Computer cycle students- continue working on final draft of paper.
 Presentations begin on Wednesday, October 28.  Final
drafts are due on Thursday, October 29. 

October 22- Use the glossary to define vocabulary words on page 52 of textbook
on page 4 of your notes section.  Computer cycle students- begin working on
final draft of paper.  Presentations begin on Wednesday, October 28.  Final
drafts are due on Thursday, October 29.

October 21- Computer cycle students- complete rough draft, this will be
checked tomorrow!

October 20- Complete Middle Eat Map (if not completed in class).  Mini quiz
tomorrow on Middle East geography- you will be allowed to use your map. 
Computer cycle students- complete rough draft to be checked on Thursday.

October 19- Computer cycle students, continue working on rough draft of essay.
