About The Teacher

     I am so excited to start my fifth year teaching sixth grade math in a 
beautiful new building! I can’t wait to meet all of my new students and 
their parents. My goal for this year is to provide a safe and nurturing 
environment where students can experience success and gain self confidence 
in mathematics. I encourage my students to challenge themselves to become 
critical thinkers and problem solvers. I believe it is important for 
students to see how math is related to everyday life. 
     In case you would like to know a little about me, I graduated with a 
degree in elementary education specializing in math, science, and technology 
from The College of New Jersey. Currently, I attend Rutgers University where 
I am pursuing a graduate degree in supervision and administration. I love to 
travel, spend time at the beach or pool, make scrapbooks and crafts, and 
cheer on Rutgers Football! I can’t wait to learn all about my house seven 
students!
