This week in ILA:

ILA movie "A Christmas Carol" on 12/21
House Party on 12/22
Writer's Celebration on 12/23 

Reading:   
This week, all ILA students will enjoy the film "A Christmas Carol" in order to enhance this month's unit on character study. We will look closely at all the characters and how the lessons they learn...especially Scrooge!  Also this week, some students who chose to write a short 10-minute book talk for an extra 20 points will continue their presentations.  Students will present based on the book they used for their literary essay while displaying the character t-shirt created last week - due 12/18- 12/23

Writing:  Our celebration has was postponed and will take place this week. 
 
Spelling/Vocabulary: Students will continue to work in designated groups based on individual spelling levels.  Spelling rules, definitions, and use will be taught and practiced each day.
