<DIV><SPAN style="COLOR: red"><STRONG><STRONG><U>Reading</U></STRONG></STRONG></SPAN><STRONG>: </STRONG>We will be starting a new unit on character study that will go until the end of December. Students will be looking closely at the different character types, traits, actions, and relationships between characters. </DIV>

</STRONG><STRONG><STRONG><SPAN style="COLOR: red"><U>Writing</U></SPAN></STRONG>: </STRONG> Celebration! Students finished their second published writing piece - realistic fiction narratives, and will start this week reading each other's stories and sharing feedback while celebrating! A new unit will begin on literary essays for character analysis. This unit compliments our reading unit by studying various characters and writing about them in a focused literary analysis essay.<STRONG><BR>
