Welcome to House 10 Social Studies! I am excited to be your teacher this
year and I look forward to meeting everyone on September 9th.
We will start the year reviewing geography skills. Then we will begin our
journey exploring the ancient world. We begin in 476 AD with the fall of the
Roman Empire. We continue the year studying the Islamic Empire, the
dynasties of China, the Mongol Empire, the early American civilizations, the
Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Reformation, the English Monarchies, and
we finally end around 1800 AD, studying the Enlightenment.
