What if I am absent?

You will have one make-up date to complete all missed work. You will have a
buddy in the class- He/she will create a list for you with all attached
work. If for some reason your buddy did not create a 'What I Missed' packet
for you..it is up to YOU to check the files for any work you miss. IT IS
ALSO UP TO YOU TO SHOW ME YOU MADE UP THE WORK! IF YOU DO NOT IT WILL STAY
IN MY GRADE BOOK AS A '0'

What are the rules for your classroom?

You will have a class set of rules which we will discuss and add any you feel
our class needs. They will be listed on a poster in the room and you will
have a copy which you will sign! My MOST IMPORTANT rule is RESPECT and I
think this covers everything. If you respect me, I will respect you and we
will have a great year---

Why is ILA two periods?

ILA is two periods because it is both reading and writing! We also cover
other topics such as speaking.

What happens if I 'forget' to copy down the homework?

You are still responsible for the homework the next school day! You have
homework hotline, my internet site, and you should always have at least 3
classmates phone numbers- If it requires a package page, you can either
photocopy a blank page, have a classmate fax you the blank page, or write
down the assignment on loose leaf paper.

What if I don't have enough time to complete the Do Now?

You will ALWAYS have time to complete the DO NOW! If you come in class
quickly and quietly, sit down, copy your homework and then do the Do Now you
will not have any problems! *Remember they are graded you must do them! :-)
