Please join us at our next PTA meeting on Tuesday, December 1st at 7:30PM.  
 
Attention 7th Graders - announcing the 7th Grade only TGIF on Friday, November 20th from 7-9PM.  Click here for the flyer and parent permission slip - TGIFNov20flyer.pdf.  Tickets must be prepurchased for $15, checks made payable to "HMS PTA" No tickets will be sold at the door.  Ticket sales during lunch periods on Monday November 16th, Tuesday November 17th and Wednesday November 18th only. Refreshments ranging in price from $0.50 to $3.00 will be sold at the event.  Parent chaperones needed to man the event as well as volunteers to assist in selling tickets during lunch on Monday - Wednesday.  Please contact Liz Bondi at ebondi3@aol.com or click on the e-mail icon above if you can volunteer at ticket sales and/or at the event.  No other children please.
 
The week of November 15-21 had been proclaimed American Education Week 2009. In recognition of this and to celebrate our excellent public schools, Dr. Magistro invites parents to visit Hammarskjold Middle School on Tuesday, November 17th from either 9:00AM - 10:00AM or 12:45PM - 1:45PM. The HMS PTA is still offering the KidStuff coupon book for sale .  You can order by clicking here:  KidstuffFlyer09-10.pdf.  Each book is $25 and your family earns one FREE book for every 5 books you sell.  Please make all checks payable to "HMS PTA" and enclose the order form in an envelope labeled HMS PTA.

Please note that the HMS SPIRITWEAR orders won't be delivered until the end of November.

The PTA operates the school store at HMS. The store is open during lunch most Tuesdays and Thursdays. Most of the school supplies are available for purchase including supplies as the cycle classes change. Tote bags will be for sale for $5 each (nonrefundable).  We need regular volunteers to man the store during lunch periods from 10:30-12:30 on Tuesday and Thursdays from October - December.  Please email Liz Bondi @ ebondi3@aol.com or click on the E-mail link above if you are available to volunteer.
