The PTA Sponsored Scholastic Book Fair is here! The Book Fair will be held during school hours
from Monday, December 1st through Friday, December 5th. Students will be visiting the book fair
during the week with their ILA class.
Please join us at our next PTA meeting on Monday, February 2nd. The meeting will be held at
7:30PM in the cafeteria. Please note that this is a change from the originally scheduled date
of February 9th.
Thank you to the many parent volunteers who helped make our 7th Grade T.G.I.F. event a fun-
filled evening. Special thanks to our event chair, Sonia Klein, for organizing the TGIF.
Yearbook order forms were mailed to your home address directly from the school's yearbook
publisher. A copy of the order form is available on the Download Forms page. Please contact
the school if you have any other questions.
Holiday Boutique - The PTA operates the school store at HMS. The store is open during lunch
most Tuesdays and Thursdays. During the next few weeks, the store will be selling holiday gift
items ranging in price up to $15. Most of the school supplies are available for purchase
including supplies as the cycle classes change. Tote bags are still for sale for $5 each
(nonrefundable).
Septa(Special Ed PTA of East Brunswick) has teamed up with National Estate Jewelry Buyers of
East Brunswick for a fundraising event to be held on Wednesday December 3rd at 7:30PM at the
EBBL's Manager Hall on Dunhams corner road near baseball complex. Please see the flyer on the

Announcing the East Brunswick Education Fundraiser - The Nutcracker to be held on December 6-7,
2008. Presented by the New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble at Hammarskjold Middle School. This
event is back by popular demand after a three year absence! To be held on Saturday, December 6,
2008 at 2:00 pm and Sunday, December 7, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Tickets are Adults - $25,
Seniors/Groups of 20 or more - $20 and Children - $15. Call (732) 254-3233 to reserve your
